The Rain, the Rush, and the Possibility of Missing It The day began with heavy rain—thick, sharp drops falling nonstop as if the sky was in a hurry to empty itself. By the time we reached the temple, we were already late. The darshan is usually open from  5 to 6 AM , and we joined the queue much closer to 6 than we wanted to.
